RCAM | APP is our response to the challenges of GRF (Global Reporting Format). This application was developed by our team in cooperation with licensed aviation personnel and airport infrastructure managers.

After the changes in the regulations related to the preparation of SNOWTAM reports, the airport operational staff is obliged to conduct a comprehensive form of reporting. Our application replaces the traditional Runway Condition Assessment Worksheet: it is easy-to-operate and saves time of its users. All estimates and measurements are automatically compiled to the SNOWTAM message format, and they can be sent to predefined recipients in case of the application user’s request. In addition, all reports are stored in a database, which includes an option to view the reports’ history.

The use of our application supports the decision-making process, and an appropriate RWYCC code should fit in automatically with the selection of dominant conditions. Of course, it can be increased or decreased in accordance with the applicable regulations.

When creating RCAM|APP, we focused on simplicity and transparency: we are perfectly aware that operators do not have time and capabilities to tediously go through the large amount of sliders and options. Also we know that they work for a long time both during the day and at night, so our application has a black and grey colors design, which minimizes battery drain and is not aggressive to human eyes.
